I could not get mine to set up don't know what I did wrong I went right by the recipe but it was sooo delicious that I decided to pur it into canning jars and can it for my 2 oldest sons for christmas. I called it choc. fudge sauce we did try some of it heated up over panakes and it just flew out of the jar! So I thought it would be good served warm over biscuits, ice cream , pancakes or etc... thanks for a great recipe!
I have been looking for a fudge receipe like my mother's also. She used regular kitchen staples and would beat it until lost gloss. She would just butter a dinner plate and pour on it! I hope this is it! I will let you know!
I made the plain fudge. It was good, but a bit too sweet.
