A diabetes-friendly diet doesn't have to be bland. This came from Kraft Food & Family. I have not tried this recipe, but I'm posting for safe keeping.
- 1 cup water
- 14 ounces no sugar added crushed pineapple
- 1 cup MINUTE White Rice
- 1 ounce sugar substitute (1 packet low calorie sweetner)
- 2 cups cool whip lite whipped topping
- toasted sliced almonds
