Great on a hot day.
- 4 medium lemons, halved
- 4 1⁄2 cups water
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 2 cups sliced fresh fruit, such as star fruit, mango, strawberries, kiwi, nectarines, peaches, and or 2 cups limes
- ice cube
- Juice lemon halves. If necessary, strain juice through strainer to remove lemon seeds. You should have about 3/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- In a large jar or pitcher combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, water, and sugar. Stir vigorously until sugar is just dissolved.
- Add assorted fruits. Ladle immediately into individual cups filled with ice cubes, or chill several hours.
