Fruity high Protein Shake

"Quick Pick me up or Breakfast! The bananas (with skin on) I freeze when they start to ripen and have a lot extra. Just cut skin away when ready to use. The skin will be black but the meat will be fine. I also have berries frozen to make shakes when needed."

  1. Delicious! I love how the orange juice shines through. Definitely a keeper, although next time I'll remember to freeze my banana and strawberries the night before. I used frozen vanilla yogurt to make up for the fresh fruit. I like the addition of ice cubes, it stayed extra cold! Good one, Reet! Made for Veggie Tag #60, July.

  2. I used chocolate protein powder, 1/4 cup milk instead of yogurt, and no strawberries. It made the perfect shake for after a run!

  3. NICE. Used 2 mandarins instead, but would have been better with O.J. Added berry protein powder and the consistency is just right, not too thick

  4. Yummy breakfast! Thanks for sharing!

  5. This was so tasty! I doubled the recipe, but only used 1 banana and also added 1/4 cup frozen blueberries. I used cherry yogurt and added some fiber powder. I will be using this recipe again! Thanks Rita!
