- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 cup plain fat-free yogurt
- 1 frozen banana, peeled and cut into chunks
- 6 packets Equal sugar substitute
- Place all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until smooth.
I made this with my own twist, and it turned out to be quite good! It has a tangy banana taste, tangy because of the orange juice. So, I changed up the recipe a bit. I made my own orange juice with real oranges, and put in a non-frozen banana, but added about 3 ice cubes to cool it down. And instead of putting fake sugar, I put about 2 tablespoons of honey and a pinch of brown sugar. I definitely recommend it, especially for hot days.
My daughter made this and everyone had to have a sample. I thought it had a very fresh taste to it. One that you could sit down after a long hot summer day take a sip and just say, "ahhhh". Very good thanks for posting.
Sounds kind of sweet with all that sugar. I would think the oj and banana a good start of sweetness already . Ciao, Missy
