This is the best topping for cobblers!
- Melt enough butter until mixture is crumbly in texture or balls up. Put 2 cans of your favorit pie filling or fruit in pan and add mixture to top. Bake at 350 for 1/2 hour.
I have been doing a trial and error on cobbler/crisp toppings for quite a while now and this one is fantastic!! I omit the white sugar and use one cup of brown sugar only and use one stick of unsalted sweet cream butter melted. The results are absolutely perfect!! Comes out with that nice crunchy topping that isn't like a melted together brick. Crunchy crumbly perfection!! 5 stars all they way!!
