A fruity alcholic punch for summer. To serve as a non-alcoholic puch just elimiate the bourbon and use ginger ale in place of the club soda. Recipe source: Bon Appetit (May 1982)
- 1 (6 fluid ounce) can frozen pineapple concentrate, unthawed
- 2 bananas, peeled and cut into pieces
- 1 cup ice cube
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1⁄2 cups club soda
- 2⁄3 cup Bourbon
- Combine first 4 ingredients (pineapple juice - sugar) in a blender or food processor and blend into smooth.
- Transfer to a chilled pitcher and stir in soda and bourbon.
This is tropical and refreshing! The banana and pineapple flavors made me feel like I was sipping this on a sunny beach. Thanks for a keeper, ellie.
