A super easy fruit salad made special by a glaze made from the canned fruit's reserved juice. Cook time is refrigeration time.
- 2 apples, diced
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can fruit cocktail in light syrup, drained with juice reserved
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can pineapple chunks, drained with juice reserved
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1⁄2 cup water
- Combine all fruit together in a large bowl.
- Combine reserved juices, cornstarch, and water in a small saucepan. Over med-high heat bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Let boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly. Pour over fruit, mix well. Refrigerate 2 hours or until cold. Enjoy!
