Made with fresh, frozen or soaked-dried fruit...whatever you happen to have
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1⁄3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon almond flavoring
- 2 cups fruit (your choice)
- In a buttered 8" baking dish, put 2 cups of fruit with sugar to taste.
- Over it, pour the batter, mixed in the order given above.
- Bake 350F 30 minutes.
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
