Makes 4 open-faced sandwiches
- 8 ounces havarti cheese, thinly sliced
- 1⁄2 small pear, thinly sliced
- 1⁄2 small apple, thinly sliced
- 4 slices whole grain bread, toasted
- Layer cheese, apple and pear slices evenly onto slices of bread.
Easy and a big favorite when served with tea. I usually just use the pear, and sometimes I use cinnamon bread instead of whole grain.
