Easy! We have a relative that gives us fresh corn from his farm in the month of July. We freeze it to use throughout the year. It does not need to thaw and is placed into the boiling water. Ready to be served in 10 min.
- 2 cups frozen sweet corn
- 3⁄4 cup boiling water
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons pillsbury shake and blend flour
- black pepper
- Bring water to boil. Add frozen corn and butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Boil for 5 minutes and quickly stir in flour to thicken. Boil 5 more minutes and serve.
