Dust off your blender.
- superfine sugar
- 1 1⁄2 ounces light rum
- 4 strawberries
- 1 ounce fresh lime juice
- 1⁄2 ounce lime cordial (Rose's)
- 1⁄2 ounce simple syrup (2 parts sugar 1 part water)
- 1 cup ice, crushed
- If desired, coat outer rim of a hurricane glass with superfine sugar.
- Add rum, strawberries, lime juice, lime cordial, simple syrup, and ice to a blender.
- Blend until mixture is smooth.
- Pour into hurricane glass; garnish with lime slice.
