This is a great drink to make during those hot summer nights when fresh peaches are plentiful.
- 3 large fresh peaches (peeled, pitted and halved)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1⁄2 cup light rum
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 3 cups crushed ice
- Place first 4 ingredients in an electric blender; process at high speed until smooth. Add ice, and process until slushy.
Great fresh tasting daiquiri! I added an additional cup of ice to thicken up the consistency.
Used locally grown peaches that were past their prime and WOW! Seriously allows nature to shine.
Simple and perfect proportions. Try it with coconut rum (Malibu or Parrot Bay).
