  1. When you add vodka it's called a Hairy Navel. A Fuzzy Navel is just peach schanpps and orange juice

Tweaks

  1. I use 8-10 oz vodka, added 3 fresh peaches including the skin, cut into large chucks (frozen will work fine too), added 1/4 cup Simple syrup. The vodka gave it more of a punch. The peaches gave it a more fruity peach flavor, but wasn't sweet enough, adding the simple syrup made it have a sweeter taste, not too sweet, just right and delicious. Add ice to top of blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Add more ice if you want it thicker. Made for a party and everybody raved how good they were. Note: Don't use white sugar to sweeten, it does not dissolve well in a cold mixture. You can easily make your own Simple syrup, and less expensive than buying it. Use equal parts water & sugar. Put in a microwave dish and microwave to a boil. Take out and stir until the sugar dissolves, let it cool down before using. Can store in refrigerator up to 30 days in a tightly sealed container. (Hint), in a hurry, only add half the water, microwave to a boil, stir until sugar is dissolve, then add ice cubes to make up the difference for the water and it will quickly cool down to use right away and not weaken your simple syrup.

RECIPE SUBMITTED BY

I'm a software engineer living in Wilmington, Delaware. I'm originally from the South (north Florida), so I was raised on good old Southern cooking. I started cooking when I was 7 and have always loved to experiment and put my own twist on the dishes I make. While traveling and living in different places I've discovered a number of wonderful cuisines - Cuban, Thai, Greek, Indonesian, Indian, et al. I have a few dishes from each cuisine that I do really well. I love to experiment with recipes. One of my favorite things to do is figure out how a dish I like is made. If I have something at a restaurant that I really like I'll experiment at home until I come up with a creditable equivalent. It's great to be a member of this community. Where else could you find recipes from people living in every corner of the world? I love it! All of the recipes I've posted here are original unless stated otherwise in the description.
