Although this recipe has been slightly tweaked, the original of it was found in the 2010 cookbook, Smoothie Heaven.
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1⁄2 cup pineapple juice
- 1⁄2 cup orange juice
- 1 cup non-fat vanilla yogurt
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar (optional)
- Put berries, juices, yogurt (& sugar, if using) in a blender & process until smooth.
- Pour into 2 tall glasses & ENJOY!
I made half the recipe for me and omitted the sugar. But next time I'll add it as it wasn't sweet enough. The berries with the juices gave a great taste. Thanks Sydney Mike :) Made for Holiday tag game
This is probably one of the best smoothies I have ever had. I subbed raspberries for the strawberries, using fresh ones. The flavors blended together really well but you could still pick out all the elements. I included the added sugar because my yogurt was unsweetened. Yum.
I really really enjoyed this!!! I made 1/2 the recipe and it was good for 2 juice glasses. So easy and fresh tasting, I would definitely make this again. I made it exactly as listed, skipping the optional sugar. Made for PRMR tag. Thanks Sydney Mike! :)
