Original recipe from Chatelaine Food Express Quickies. The preparation time does not include the time to freeze the banana.
- 1 banana, unpeeled
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1⁄4 cup yogurt or 1⁄4 cup sour cream
- chopped nuts (optional)
- Freeze unpeeled banana, remove from freezer, slice through peel lengthwise and remove peel.
- Slice frozen banana and toss with brown sugar and yogurt.
- Top with chopped nuts, if desired.
Yummy! I always have frozen bananas on hand! I mixed together brown sugar and some plain yogurt and topped with toasted almonds!
Quick, easy and very refreshing! I used lemon yogurt and some chopped walnuts on top. I will make this healthy snack again for sure! Made for ZWT7. Thanks Dreamer! :)
This made for a delightful breakfast this week! I loved the ease of preparation and how healthy I felt while enjoying this yummy treat! The frozen banana kinda melts into the yogurt while youre eating and makes this super yummy! I reduced the sugar as my banana was very sweet and instead of nuts I used crushed flax seeds. Ill have this often again, its just too good not to! :)
