- 354.88 ml butter, divided
- 157.80 ml baking cocoa, divided
- 473.18 ml sugar
- 354.88 ml all-purpose flour
- 4.92 ml salt
- 4 eggs
- 4.92 ml vanilla extract
- 510.29 g jar crunchy peanut butter
- 10 marshmallows
- 78.78 ml milk
- 453.59 g package powdered sugar
directions
- Heat 1 cup butter and 1/3 cup baking cocoa in a saucepan over low heat until butter melts; stir often. Remove from heat; set aside to cool slightly. Combine sugar, flour and salt in a large mixing bowl; blend in chocolate mixture. Add eggs and vanilla; spread in a greased jelly-roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center removes clean. Melt peanut butter; spread over warm brownies. Chill for 30 minutes. Melt marshmallows and remaining butter with milk in a heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring often; remove from heat. Whisk in remaining cocoa; gradually stir in powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Spread over peanut butter layer; refrigerate until firm, at least 20 minutes. Cut into squares to serve.
