I was going to post this recipe and seen that it was already here. This is the same one that I use except I also add a can of fruit cocktail. I am always asked to bring this dish to any holiday funtion as well.
I also make this salad (with my own twist added) and I have it posted here on 'Zaar. I add cherries and coconut. I also have tried it with the manderin orange juice instead of pineapple. You should try it.
I love this recipe, the flavor can't be beat!
The was easy and tasted pretty good - it would be easy to transport for potlucks

I have been making this recipe for years and still considerate it one of my favorites for special occasions. I did follow your recipe recently ( for an anniversary) when not having my copy at my fingertips. Children and adults love this salad. I did use the tiny little ring pasta as that I had on hand. One of my most requested recipes at christmas by my grandchildren. So very good!
Very good! The amount of pasta was a little overwhelming. I ended up throwing away some of the pasta after it sat overnight in the egg sauce. Once I got it to a manageable size it came together beautifully when I added the rest of the ingredients. As Karen from Colorado suggested, I eliminated the marshmellows and added fruit coctail. The kids and DH loved it, which ultimately is what I'm hoping for. Thanks, I will make this again, only using 1/2 the pasta.

I was going to post this recipe today but saw it was already on Zaar. I had it last night at a neighborhood gathering and it was delicious! It is so light and tasty. Fortunately for us this makes a HUGE batch and the hostees quadrupled it, so I went over this am with my container and got enough for dinner tonight too. Simply delicious. I have had Ambrosia before but the Acini Pepe .44 made this a bit different. Thanks.
This salad was definitely a little different from any other salad Ive tried, I followed the recipe to a T (except for cool whip as we dont have it here, I used whipped cream) Served it for our Christmas Dinner buffet meal and it was probably the dish that got talked about the most, it makes a HUGE bowl too. The kids particularly enjoyed it and the name is perfect!
