Great little breakfast dish. DH and I liked it but had too many potatoes for us. Will reduce the amount for next time. I partially cooked the potato in the micro and then proceeded with the recipe for two.
I made the full recipe and it fed 3 of us very nicely with some hot buttered toast. Thanks Jan for a tasty and filling breakfast, made for Make My Recipe - Edition 16.
This looked and tasted wonderful - I used mushies instead of capsicum. I loved the ease of whipping it up too.
This was a wonderful Frittata recipe. We had overnight guests, so I made this for Brunch and everyone gave it a thumbs up! It was devoured and enjoyed by everyone. Thanks for Brunch today Jan! :)
Jan, you are my favourite chef on the Zaar. I just can't go wrong with your recipes. This was just fabulous. I made this the night before to take to the cricket the next day as part of a picnic. It is packed with flavour and so easy to make, everyone loved it. The only thing I added was a small handful of basil from my garden.
WOW!! I expected it to taste a bit like an omelette, which I am not to fond of, but this is great. No one ingredient was over powering and they all complemented each other. This is definitely going to be made again. Thanks Jan.
Like Roosie, I had a hard time convincing my husband that this would be worthwile. You know men.... they figure that anything that isn't the norm must not be worth eating. But, once he took a bite, his exact words were, "This is really @#$%*& good!" Thanks Jan, for an easy, yummy dinner! :)
Mmmm... BF was moaning when I first suggested that we made a frittata for dinner. He thought it sounded like "girly food." Well, by the time we got it in the pan, he saw that it was serious business! It turned out great; we followed the recipe and I think the only thing we added was mushrooms and a few spices (like basil, oregano, thyme). Just a great basic frittata recipe, full of the good stuff. Easy and a great way to use up an excess of eggs. We managed to polish off about half of it for dinner and enjoyed the leftovers, reheated in the oven, the next day for lunch. Thank you, Jan- this is certainly one I would come back to. Easy, pretty healthy and just delicious.
