This is a fast, delicious soup that couldn't be easier to make. My family has enjoyed this for years.
- 2 (13 3/4 ounce) cans beef broth
- 1⁄2 cup chopped onion
- 1⁄2 cup chopped celery
- 1⁄2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 large garlic clove, minced
- 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
- 4 slices bacon, cooked, drained, and crumbled
- 1 (16 ounce) can chopped tomatoes
- 1⁄4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
- shredded cheddar cheese, for garnish
- tortilla chips, for garnish
