What can I say, they are good and simple to make.
- Heat oil until it's good and hot.
- Fry sweet potatoes for about 8 minutes.
- Remove from fryer and place on a napkin to drain off excess oil.
- Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Stir to coat evenly.
- Serve immediately.
Real easy, but too much cinnamon and it was way too sweet.
Boy, were these ever good! A different way to prepare sweet potatoes and we absolutely loved the sugar and cinnamon on them. This is a keeper. Thanks so much, Elizabeth!
Very good, hubby liked them and so did I. Using 3 T. each of cinnamon & sugar was a little too much and I had to throw some out so I've made a note to cut down on the amount. I would think 2 T. of each would be plenty. And for anyone watching sugar intake just use the cinnmon/sugar mixture that comes in a jar and be sparing. But, we liked the sweet taste. They fried up very quickly, too.
