- 2 cups rice, uncooked
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package onion soup mix
- 1⁄4 cup cooking oil
- 1⁄4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cups water
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Mix all ingredients together in a casserole.
- Cover and bake 1 hour.
Very good rice. I added mushrooms to the rice, used beef broth instead of water. Will make again. Made for One-Pot Meal.
I tried this to use up some rice we had and it was great. My family loved it for lunch! Thank you for posting it!
Rice was good and moist however felt it could use some mushrooms or onions in it. Would make again and add those.
