  • Heat enough oil to have two inches of depth heat to about 350 degrees.
  • Mix Flour and garlic salt together.
  • Add milk and egg and stir to combine.
  • Make another bowl with a shallow bed of panko (add more as needed).
  • Dip mushrooms into batter and then into panko, sprinkling additional panko on top of mushroom and pressing lightly.
  • Drop into oil and cook until golden brown.
