Sautéed green tomatoes and onions. Very simple and tasty.
- 3 -4 green tomatoes, cut into eights
- 1 small onion, sliced thin
- salt and pepper
- 3 tablespoons oil, to coat frying pan
- Heat oil briefly in frying pan. Add tomatoes and onions. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and sauté about 20 minutes. Add water if mixture becomes too thick.
