I made a mistake frying these on the stove instead of the deep fryer, they kept exploding on me! I also made a mistake with the cayenne pepper.....I thought it might be too much so I cut it down some......the beans seemed a little bland. Otherwise, they were good. If I make them again I will definetely use more cayenne. Made for Best of 2012 cooking game.
I made these for Super Bowl Sunday, and they were quick and easy to make. Very addictive......like many snacks, you just can't seem to stop eating them. But unlike other snacks, you don't feel quite as guilty for indulging. Thanks for sharing!
Surprising how good these were-really good! I lightly garnished the beans
with feta and fresh cilantro to accompany a Mediterranean-Middle Eastern meal.
Will make again very soon! Versatile recipe, too! Thanks for posting!
Tried this on a table full of picky twenty-somethings, and quickly realized I should have doubled or tripled the recipe. I'm still astonished by the way they all devoured it. And yes, I loved it too, just didn't get much as the kids inhaled it too fast.
These are fantastic! I made them for our Super Bowl party and they were a big hit! I put them on a sheet pan with vegetable oil and broiled them instead, so they weren't as greasy.
These were crispy and delicious and I'm not a huge garbanzo bean fan! I would definitely make these again.
