    Ingredients:

    Servings:

    • 1 egg
    • 1 slice bologna
    • 1 slice cheese
    • 1 kaiser roll

    Directions:

    1. 1
      Melt a pat of butter in a fry pan and fry the bologna till golden.
    2. 2
      Remove the bologna and fry the egg (break the yolk, if you wish) in the same pan.
    3. 3
      Slice open the kaiser roll and place the cooked bologna slice on the roll.
    4. 4
      When you have flipped the egg and its near done, place the slice of cheese on top till melted. Remove and place on top of bologna and top with the other half of bun. Enjoy!

      I love fried bologna. I grew up eating this sandwich for breakfast, instead of the cheese we always put peanut butter on toast with the fried egg and bologna. You gotta try it!

      Oh, what memories this sandwich brings! My grandpa loved these egg and baloney sandwiches so much; I love them because it evokes happy lunch-times at my grandparents table. Thanks for the memory today!
