- Mix the ingredients and fry in a frying pan as you would pancakes.
- Turn only once, when brown on one side. Then flip to the other side. Will make about 8 cakes.
Just like my mom's! I love how easy this recipe is to remember.
I made this recipe on 2-7-10 to go with our " Super Bowl Dinner " of Sausage & Beans With Rice. I did have to add about 1/4 cup more of cornmeal, so it would be the right thickness to pour into decent cakes. My SO seemed to enjoy it, but I thought it was just o.k..
