Fried Cookies - No Bake

This is favourite of all at tea parties, you can even prepare them a day ahead

Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 12 cups flour (same as we use for baking)
  • 12 cup semolina
  • 14 cup vegetable oil
  • 14 cup milk
  • 1 12 cups sugar (finely grounded)
  • 14 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons cornflour (dissolved in 1 cup water)
  • 2 cups oil (for frying)

Directions

  1. Sieve fine flour & semonila.
  2. add castor sugar, oil and milk time to time to form a hard dough. you might need more or lesser then 1/4 cup of milk.
  3. keep dough a side for 30 minutes.
  4. roll the dough around 1/4" thick cut it in your desired shape.
  5. dip it in corn flour mixture and deep fry on moderate hot oil untill golden brown.
  6. take care that oil should not become too hot in any time, it will darken the cookies.
  7. store in air tight container or serve by sprinkling castor sugar.
