Wonderful! Best recipe for coating I've found. Definitely needs a double-coat. I used 1 tsp garlic powder instead of the minced garlic, and I used cheese curds. Fabulous!
These were great! I also used italian bread crumbs and mozz chesse sticks. I coated the sticks twice and put them in the freezer for 15 mins, then deep fried them on 350 until golden. Thanks for this delish recipe!

I used Italian fine dry bread crumbs in place of the regular and didn't add the extra oregano, garlic, and salt. I coated them once in each of the mixtures, froze them, then coated them again. They were a hit!
WOW! We went nuts over this. The first time I made this we used colby cheese. The second time we used mozz. cheese sticks. I think I'm going to make these up ahead of time, flash freeze them, then put them in smaller portion freezer bags. That way I can have them ready to make at any time. Great recipe! Thanks!
