I have been making this for years and don't remember exactly where it came from. I love cabbage and bacon so using the two together is just heavenly. I like the cabbage a little closer to crisp than to fully cooked but you can adjust it to your liking.
- 4 -5 slices bacon, cut across the slice to make small pieces
- 1⁄2 head cabbage, chopped into bite size pieces
- salt and pepper

- .cook bacon pieces till fully cooked but not crisp. Do not discard bacon grease.
- While pan is still very hot add chopped cabbage into the bacon and the drippings. Stir frequently so it dosen't burn. You just want it wilted not over cooked. Salt & pepper to taste. Enjoy!
