Watched how to make bananas foster and fire in kitchen scared me...lol. Can give to kids served over ice cream. It is good.
- 4 chopped bananas
- 73.94 ml butter
- 78.07 ml brown sugar
- 59.16 ml frozen orange juice concentrate
- 59.14 ml walnuts
- Fry bananas in butter; add brown sugar.
- Cook until sugary and caramelized, shaking pan gently frequently to prevent breaking the bananas.
- Add orange juice and walnuts.
Very tasty! And it's so easy to prepare, so you can have it on your table in such a short period of time. We enjoyed these with our breakfast recently, and it really added a nice touch to our morning. But it would be an excellent dessert dish, too. Thank you, Dienia B.
Delicious! The only thing I did different is I used only 2 Tbsp. oj and 2 Tbsp. rum during the last minute of cooking. It was wonderful and I served it over top of vanilla ice cream. A very quick and easy dessert. I will definitely be making this again.
