This is a very easy recipe & can be made on the spur of the moment since most ingredients are on hand. I didn't have any cloves but even so, it was great over ice cream.

Made this with very rare "Black Delicious" apples. Excellent recipe.

Delicious! I was out of cinnamon, but they were still so good. We ate them with pork, but would love to have over some vanilla ice cream.

These apples are really good. I substituted apple pie spice for the spices and added a sprinkle of brown sugar at the end. I've always cooked apples in water or juice, but this is much better. Great recipe!

I made this tonight with fried chicken & corn on the cob. I used 1/4 cup of splenda instead of sugar. Everyone loved it! Thanks
