These were very tasty, and easy to prepare. I used whole frozen beans. These green beans were special, but the kids thought they were scary and wouldn't willingly eat them.

  1. Cook the beans in boiling water for 10 minutes, drain then add parsley, butter, garlic and salt, simmer for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove from the heat and stir in the beaten egg yolk, lemon juice and Parmesan cheese.
  3. Serve immediately.
