Nice combination of flavors. It's very similar to a recipe they serve in a great restaurant here in our town. We're always looking for new ways to enjoy veggies and this was a hit with one of our children...and this recipe makes it easy to keep some green beans plain for those who don't like dressing because the beans are not cooked - only dressed in these flavors. Thanks Wildflour :)

I am wild about this! I only used one piece of bacon and supplemented the bacon grese with olive oil in order to saute the onions, otherwise I prepared as called for.

This was delicious! I used two cans of no salt added green beans, splenda and turkey bacon and the dish was simply wonderful.

I made this last night but used tinned french beans. I was very hesitant after tasting the vinegar mixture...It really took my breath away but after adding a little more sugar and mixing it with the other ingredients it was so good. They all disappeared so I am assuming they were a big hit. Thanks for the recipe. Another way to cook a tasty vegetable dish.
