I love juicing, especially vegetables! Carrot, celery & beet is one of my favourite combinations, but the added tomato & red pepper added a sweetness that wasn't too sweet, if that makes sense. I have made it with & without parsley (whether I had some or not) & liked both. A definite keeper, thank you :-)

This was very tasty, and doesn't provide all that added sodium found in store bought varieties. It's always a shame throwing away the accumulated pulp, but then it wouldn't be juicing, right? For heartier health-nuts, maybe eating the pulp should be recommended as well. This pulp was certainly pretty enough to eat, but I stuck to just drinking the delicious juice. I have been collecting cookbooks since I have been married. I own over a 100. My favorites are the ones I purchased at the Antique Stores. I bake from September through January. Then I shut the oven down and we don't eat much cooked foods from then until next fall. We go into a healing mode and eat very healing foods. One of my daughters suffers from a serious incurable that is kept intact by this routine.
