Writing my first review because this is a family staple now. The entire crowd of picky-eaters in my house all love this dish. It's easy, it's healthy and we love it!
A very heart healthy dish. I used a can of garbanzo beans that had been drained and washed and I also omitted the salami. The olives were Kalamata and the feta was regular. This was delicious served with Microwave Salmon Fillets. Made for the Diabetic Forum *Heart Healthy Tag*
I just finished making this recipe and I already love it! I omitted the salami, however and it still tasted delicious!
Very healthy and tasty, a nice combination of flavors. The black olives go well with the other ingredients. I left out the salami, as a personal preference. Next time I will try adding some lemon juice, fresh herbs, and maybe green onions. I used herbed goat cheese instead of feta, which made it a bit hard to crumble, but tasted great! I used balsamic vinegar, cider vinegar, and also added a bit of extra virgin olive oil to the dressing. The second time I ate it I threw in some dried cranberries and walnuts, which I liked also. It's nice to have a salad that is filling and healthy! Thanks!
