Given to me by my mother. Its a spicy, sweet mix. The fruit you add is your preference. Combinations such as raspberries, honey dew, yellow apples, and grapes is good. Just make sure that it's about 1 to 1-1/2 cups

  • 6 tomatoes, roma, large, chopped (seeded, if desired)
  • 1 large white onion, chopped
  • 2 -3 jalapeno peppers, chopped (seeded for less heat)
  • 2 banana peppers, hungarian, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, fresh
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice, fresh
  • 1 -2 tablespoon cilantro, fresh, minced
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 1 -1 12 cup fruit, chopped (such as honey dew, raspberry, yellow apples, grapes, mango, strawberries ( or a combination)
