Great recipe, I did this with two changes, I grilled the pineapple before cutting it into chunks, barbecued thick slices for about 2 minutes. Found some of this salt at a speciality store in my neck of the woods. Great side dish to dinner. Made for New Kids On the Block.


  1. Slice the pineapple lengthwise with the leaves and remove the pineapple meat from the pineapple bowl.
  2. Slice the pineapple into chunks.
  3. Very lightly sprinkle with Ono Hawaiian salt.
  4. Place chunks in the pineapple bowl.
