I have made this crisp with fresh, frozen and canned peaches all worked out fine. The canned peaches have a softer texture to me. I did add some lemon juice and zest to mine along with a little vanilla flavoring. I think those two additions made this over the top. I think I am going to add some chopped pecans and or oatmeal to the topping next time. I do prefer the frozen peaches slightly better because it is easier to use. They come already peeled and sliced so you save a step there. I usually have to double and triple this recipe when I am taking it to a gathering. Oh and I always add a pinch of salt to desserts because salt brings out the sugar and makes everything taste better. I learned to use salt in desserts in culinary school.

I doubled the recipe to bring to a family gathering. It easily doubles in the 9 X 13 pan. It was delicious! This is the best peach crisp recipe I've tried yet.

Real sweet but delicious! I served it with a big scoop of Vanilla ice cream to offset the sweetness! Loved the cinnamon!

Yum! I halfed the recipe and baked in my toaster oven in a 9" square pan. Used some fresh peaches I had that were going bad and added some canned peaches. Also used Splenda Brown Sugar Blend. Topped it with some low-fat vanilla frozen yogurt. Will definitely make again - very easy to throw together.

A very nice recipe. My sweetie and I ate almost half of it before it cooled off. It was a little too sweet for me, but my sweetie thought it was perfect the way it was. I'll make this again the same way and I'll just keep scraping off some of the topping from my pieces.

Great recipe. My boyfriend LOVES it! He is always begging me to make it for him. He could eat it everyday. Now if only I could teach him to bake it himself!!

I made this the other day with some of the many peaches we got from the farmer's market. It was wonderful! The only change I made was to add 1/2 cup of walnuts to the topping b/c I love walnuts in crisps. Huge hit! I'm off to get more peaches to make more :) Thank you
