Fresh Orange With Balsamic Dressing

"Simple, quick, healthy yet different, very few ingredients, can be used as a snack to curb sweet tooth or as a dessert. I never measure; so measurements are a complete guess. NOTE: salt and pepper are to taste. I like this because it takes a few minutes to make but when I have more time, I will roast a large clove of freshly chopped garlic in the olive oil and then when it cools whisk it into the vinegar which gives it a deeper flavor but this quick way is very nice as well."

i am a stay at home mother, formerly a kindergarten teacher. one of my favorite cookbooks is "home cooking" by laurie colwin. i love to cook but other than my 3 yr old daughter and myself, i really dont have anyone to cook for. my daughter eats lots of broccoli and fresh garlic dishes and loves to help me in the kitchen preparing the food that she and i eat. i try to follow a strict organic lifestyle as best i can for my daughter and i.
