  1. This was very easy to prepare and I used a bread I had baked about a month ago and pulled out of the freezer. Fresh herbs from the garden, too! Reviewed for Veg Tag/Swap July.

  2. So easy to do that I had my 12 year old son make this. We used an unbaked french loaf bread, add the butter and herbs and baked. Excellent! Made for December Beverage Tag.

  3. We decided while making this that it was intended to use a fatter French loaf than the thin baguette we used, or else to be sliced the long way. We got a plate of bite-sized appetizers which, nevertheless, were delicious and disappeared in minutes. Recommended the way we did it as hors-d'ouvres or in larger slices as a side to steak or pasta. Made for Holiday Tag Nov. 2008.
