Make and share this Fresh Green Beans recipe from Food.com.
- Snap end off the beans.
- Add beans to boiling water.
- Cook ONLY 5 minutes.
- Drain and run under cold water.
- In a skillet, melt butter and saute beans for 3 minutes.
- Add cheese, pepper and garlic salt and toss.
- Serve immediately.
Very easy and delicious!!!
Loved these but did change up the cooking method. I also used thin frozen green beans. I cooked them in the microwave for seven minutes then I sauted then in the butter and followed the rest of the recipe. I did use garlic powder instead of garlic salt as I don't buy garlic salt. We all really enjoyed these.
Okay, these did NOT tast cooked enough. I think 5 minutes didnt do enough. I will make again and cook longer to see the result!
