This is a great refreshing recipe I created. Make sure to use fresh squeezed lemon juice.
- 236.59 ml sugar
- 236.59 ml water
- 29.58 ml finley chopped peeled fresh ginger
- 354.88 ml fresh lemon juice
- 946.36 ml water
- In a small saucepan stir together ginger, sugar, and 1 cup of water, bring to a boil, then set aside and let cool completly.
- Strain the ginger simple syrup into a pitcher and discard ginger, stir in lemon juice and 4 cups of water. Chill before serving.
This is a great recipe for fresh ginger lemonade. All the measurements are on point and it's the perfect combination of sweet and tart. I added a dash of cayenne pepper and that really knocked it out of the park for me. Thanks for the recipe Cupcake-Princess!
