    This recipe came from Better Homes and Gardens Easy Everyday Low Carb Cookbook. You can substitute the cinnamon for nutmeg or ginger, depending on preference. This is great with seasonal fruit - serve with fresh fruit dippers (such as pineapple chunks, strawberries, apple slices, and/or peach slices).

    Directions:

      In a small bowl stir together yogurt, applesauce, and cinnamon. To serve, spear fruit with decorative toothpicks and dip into yogurt mixture.

      I made this for a church group and it went over quite well. I served it with red apples, orange slices and cheese slices. It was a great healthy change up from the usual fruit dip made with cream cheese. I added a little bit of nutmeg with the cinnamon. I also have a cinnamon/sugar grinder, so I ground some up fresh over the top. I think I'd like to try it with strawberry yogurt next time. The apple flavor takes over the yogurt a bit. Still very good. Thanks! :)
