Fresh Fig Appetizer Spread

- 10 -12 fresh figs
- 4 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
- 1 vidalia onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 baguette or 1 cracker
directions
- Saute onion in butter until soft, then add chopped fig. Saute to reduce liquid, add honey, and continue until mixture is carmelized.
- Sprinkle with goat cheese.
- Serve on warm baguette or cracker.

I loaded a picture of what I came out with after following the directions, so since I have never made it before nor ever seen it I hope it came out the way Karen's did. It was super easy and very delicious. I used blue cheese instead of feta or goat cheese as my family prefers blue. Still very tasty!
