    Directions:

      In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, apple, onion and bacon.
    2. 2
      In a small bowl, combine salad dressing and sugar.

      Pour over broccoli mixture, toss to coat.

      This was very good - nice and crunchy with a tasty dressing. I made the mistake of using cooking onions, which I would not recommend - way to strong. Next time I will use red or reduce the onion by half if I must use cooking onions. Nice healthy easy recipe - and the apples make it light and refreshing. I tied it with baked potatoes and it was delicious as well. I used low-fat ranch dressing and fake dry bacon bits and theyseemed to work really well. Thank you for posting this recipe!

      Great broccoli salad. The only difference I made was to use a gala apple. Thanks Morgaingeiser :) Made for I recommend tag game

      Absolutely amazing. :) I could eat this all day long. The addition of apples is wonderful. Easy and fast to put together. Other than adding black pepper, I followed the recipe as written. Thank you Morgainegeiser for a wonderful salad. Made for the May Pool Party Tag in the Diabetic Forum
