This side dish is very fresh tasting and super easy. We really love it.
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon water
- 4 medium mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 2 cups frozen peas
- 4 slices onions, thin
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- Melt butter in saucepan.
- Add all other ingredients.
- Saute for 5 minutes.
A wonderfull way to transform frozen peas into a special side dish. I have to admit I was tempted to brown the onion and mushrooms before adding the peas. I'm glad I didn't. The un-browned onion and mushrooms give this dish a very fresh taste. Thanks Inez, this is keeper.

Yum, I loved this. I'm not really a mushroom lover but will eat them when cooked in this, a keeper vegie side for sure, thanks for posting!
