Great recipe! I used I large(18.5oz?) can of french onion soup with chicken broth instead of consomme and 1/4 cup butter. It was so easy! I love that you do it in the oven.

This is excellent. Great flavor to white rice. I doubled this and added some water and beef broth. My guest loved it. This will be a regular in my house. Thanks for posting. Update. I made this again this weekend and had no problems with the stated amount of liquid. Turned out perfect.
