From my mother-in-law's recipe box.
- 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can tomato soup
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 1⁄2 cup vinegar
- 1 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- Mix all ingredients together; shake well.
- Store in refrigerator.
My DH loves French dressings and he gave this one 5 stars. It's a keeper.
I am vascillating between a 3 and 4. It's not our favorite dressing, but not bad either. I think I would reduce the paprika next time as it was a bit too spicy. It was a little too liquidy for us too. I used 1/2 C canola and 1/2 C olive. Maybe it will thicken up in the fridge a bit (with the olive oil.)
