    Elizabeth #5's Note:

This is delicious! I think it's the soy sauce that makes it unique. My husband loves this one.

    • 4 lbs chuck roast
    • 10 3/4 ounces condensed French onion soup
    • 10 ounces water
    • 1 beef bouillon cube
    • 1/2 cup soy sauce
    • 1 tablespoon McCormick's Montreal Brand steak seasoning

    Directions:

    1. 1
Combine all of the ingredients in a crock pot and cook on low for 8-10 hours. Skim the fat off the top and shred the meat.

If you don't have beef boullion, you can just use beef broth. We always serve this on Media Noche Rolls with horseradish sauce and swiss cheese. Definitely use the broth for dipping. Enjoy!

OK, according to my family, this roast is to die for! LOL I have 2 grown sons whose idea of heaven is roast beef and mashed potatoes and boy did this fit the bill! The next time they want it on hard rolls. I doubt I get away with fixing beef any other way from now on! :) Thanks for posting! ...Gina
